Five stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We’ve tried a bunch of Mexican places around here and this one is easily a favorite. The enchiladas were amazing, the birria tacos were just as delicious, and the portions are very generous. Staff was super friendly, and you get chips and salsa at the table which is always a win. We’ll definitely be back!

My husband had broke his reading glasses and was having a time with the menu and the gentleman that started waiting on us loaned my husband his magnifying glasses he was so wonderfully thoughtful may you be blessed We both had molcajete at $30 a piece and it was well worth it it was Delicious I would have given the food a 10 but the dessert a -10 to start with we ordered 2 desserts to go we only got 1 and paid for 2 which was suppose to be plain fried cheese cake sticks what we received was cheese cake sticks heavy encrusted with cinnamon and sugar soaked in chocolate syrup so Gross If we wanted to gag on them we would have ordered them that way as the picture shows 2 plain fried cheese cake sticks and to get heavy slop that maybe someone with a sick sweet tooth would love to gag on was almost enough to make me want to drop it to a 0 review but that wouldn't be fair for the excellent meal itself ! We will return but advise everyone not to get dessert

Hubby is always on the hunt for a legitimate Mexican restaurant, after living in Mexico for 6 months, he knows what he’s looking for and Tex-Mex won’t cut it. While traveling on the NYS Thruway we found Cinco de Mayo II on the Waze map and gave it a shot. It was outstanding food, and hubby was impressed! I had a Chili Relleno as an app, then a chicken Torta. It was cooked through but not dried out, I wished I had selected something more exciting for my mouth though. Hubby got the Taco de Carnitas and was very pleases to see corn tortillas as an option. Finally he found authentic flavors and presentation of real Mexican food in NY! We half joked on our way home from our trip, about stopping back at Cinco de Mayo again, but it would have been quite a bit of a detour on that leg of the trip. We will go back again though, any time we’re traveling the Thruway in that area! The only negative was when we were trying to get our check and pay it, the young man at the counter was more interested in his phone conversation, than in checking us out. That was the only disappointment we had at this restaurant.

First time going it was pretty good.. the prices were fair.. I wish we were a little more cultured we had no idea what some of the food was.. our bill came to 38.71 cash or 40 something with card.. which I am not a fan of but I understand..

Great spot! Service is exceptional and the food is good. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican cuisine, give this place a go. The menu can be a bit overwhelming with the lack of pictures, but the quality of the food is there. Give this place a try!

This is an authentic Mexican Restaurant on Rte 5, Oneida NY. across the street from Price Chopper. Cinco De Mayo is very clean and restrooms are the cleanest I have run across. This is my second visit and it won't be my last. If you like authentic Mexican food this is the place to go.
